Maybe I’ve seen one too many slasher movies, but this seems a rather alarming name. Especially if you don’t know what Beef on Weck is.

Somehow I picture a chain of themed restaurants spread out along the New York State Thruway: Charlie the Butcher(Buffalo)– Mickey the Meat Cleaver(Rochester) — Annie’s Abbatoir (two locations – Syracuse and Albany).

The food was really good once we got past the name. And yes, we had Beef on Weck.
