Beth was out with our friend Ingrid today on their annual Christmas shopping pilgrimage. It’s a scary thought actually since they’re both engineers of German descent. I imagine a shopping expedition so efficient and relentless that any sane man would pull off his own head rather than participate.
I was certainly happy to stay home with Marty & Matt to supervise leaf cleanup. The Elm tree on the front lawn has finally dumped most of its leaves, so there was lots to do. They were pretty cooperative since it was a nice day, and they were being paid. They also got to jump into the leaves and burrow around for a while before I started cracking the whip again. You just can’t have two boys and a big pile of leaves without some kind of silliness like this.
